POWER IN AN INSTANT
The Ronk Automatic Transfer Switch transfers critical loads automatically in the event of a power outage. Constantly monitoring your business’ power, the Ronk ATS looks for power interruptions or failures caused by an accident or bad weather to instantly switch over to generator power. Leaving your critical machines, devices or appliances operating safely and efficiently.
The Ronk ATS comes standard as NEMA 4 enclosure. Rated UL 1008 in Optional Standby and Emergency Rated options.
Our user-friendly digital control module monitors the voltage and frequency of incoming AC supply. The controller comes factory set with common trips and time delays. It’s easy to change parameters, test and has the option to switch to manual mode if needed..

CONTROL AT YOUR FINGERTIPS
The controller will monitor the voltage and frequency of the incoming AC supply from two different sources, which could be from generator or mains (utility), or a combination of both. The module will monitor S1 (source 1) and in the event of a failure will issue a start command to S2 (source 2). Once S2 is available and producing an output within limits, the module will control the transfer device and switch the load from S1 to S2. Once the S1 supply returns to within limits, the module will command a load return to S1 and shut down S2

NOTES:
1) The start time delay prevents nuisance generator starts during momentary utility power variations; transfer time delay allows generator set to stabilize before load is applied; retransfer delay prevents needless power interruption if return of utility power is momentary; stop delay allows gradual generator set cool down; undervoltage sensing of utility supply provides reliable starting of generator set during brownout conditions.
2) This switch is service entrance rated. This generally means that you do not need an additional service entrance rated disconnect between this switch and your utility meter.
