Universal Replacement Contactor
for
Automatic Transfer Switches
240 Vac, 2 pole, single phase, 200A max
(field installable with instructions)

Replacement power contactor for residential and light commercial automatic transfer switches. Similar construction and same ratings as OEM equipment for many brands. Dual operating coils for the two positions (normal utility and emergency generator). 

Now you do not have to completely change out a whole transfer switch and enclosure simply because the original manufacturer will no longer sell a replacement for a non-working contactor. Or, the lead time for an original replacement is unacceptably long or priced too high. Save time and money by keeping the original enclosure, and all the conduit connections and cables. Just replace the power contactor.

Instructions provided. In some cases this is a direct replacement with no other changes necessary. In other cases some control wiring changes will need to be made, which are described in the instructions. When wiring changes are necessary we include the terminals, butt splices and wire tap connectors to make the work as simple as possible.

* For switches which contain integrated logic controllers, the controller must be in working order.

 

If your switch is still under warranty we do not recommend replacing the OEM contactor with this alternative as it will probably void the original manufacturer's switch warranty.

Select certifications... replacement contactor to have equivalent OEM ratings but without certification markings replacement contactor must be certified to UL standard with ETL and/or UR markings (add $370)
Select inspection... this repair WILL be inspected as part of an electrical work permit this repair WILL NOT be inspected as part of an electrical work permit
